Cinema Group

THE PURPOSE of this group is to experience movies of artistic quality together, sharing our thoughts after each viewing.

All movies are usually shown on the last Tuesday evening of the month, starting at 19:00 sharp. We have a short discussion after the end of the movie, and aim to finish by 22:00.

The films are normally highly entertaining – the group leader doesn’t hold the view that movies should be as gloomy as Bergman or as impenetrable as Fellini.

He has a number of movies in his private collection from a wide range of genres. He is happy to select the film of the month but is always open to your suggestions for future movies.

If you are not a member of C3A you’re welcome to come along for a ‘taster’ evening.
